RMS supports Teltonika's RUT, RUTX and RUTM routers, TRB gateways, TSW switches, TAP access points and OTD outdoor routers. Below are those families with a model from each, what you need to connect a device, and where each model is described.
RMS gives remote control over connected, compatible Teltonika networking devices, even without
a public IP address. Every device manual on Teltonika's wiki has a section on RMS. The
families below are the ones whose manuals we checked, each with the model whose manual page is
the source. Other models in a family have manual pages of their own, and the RMS section of
your model's manual is the place to confirm it.
Teltonika's wiki also has RMS pages for other product lines. We list only the families above
because those are the pages we checked; if your device is not here, look up its own manual on
the wiki.
We sell RMS credits only, with RMS management packages coming soon. We do not sell devices.
Each model name above links to its product page on Teltonika's website.
What you need to connect a device
An RMS account and a company
Devices are added to an RMS company, and the credits that keep them managed sit in that
company's pool. Register an RMS account before adding a device.
RMS in the device's firmware
RMS is the one cloud service that is not an extra package: the others are installed from the
Package Manager, while RMS is part of the firmware. Menu names can differ between firmware
versions, so check the manual for the firmware your device runs.
RMS switched on in the device
Remote monitoring for RMS must be enabled in the device's own configuration, either before or
after you add the device in RMS. The setting is on the RMS page of the device's web interface;
where that page sits in the menu depends on the model and firmware.
Adding the device in RMS
In RMS, the Add device dialog on the Devices page asks for the company, the model, a name for
the device, and its serial number and LAN MAC address, which are printed on the packaging and
shown in the device's web interface. The same dialog can switch on the device's service, which
uses a trial credit or a credit from the company pool.
The 30 day trial
Teltonika offers a 30 day RMS trial for every new device. When it ends, the device needs a
credit or a management pack to stay under management; each credit gives one device 30 days.
Our guide How to use RMS credits explains assigning
credits and Auto Extend.
RMS supports Teltonika's RUT, RUTX and RUTM routers, TRB gateways, TSW switches, TAP access points and OTD outdoor routers. Each device's manual on the wiki has an RMS section, so check the one for your model.
What do I need to connect a device to RMS?
An RMS account with a company, the device's serial number and LAN MAC address for the Add device dialog, and RMS switched on in the device's own settings. RMS is part of the firmware, so no extra package is needed.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Teltonika gives every new device a 30 day RMS trial. After that the device needs a credit or a management pack to stay managed.
