Questions about RMS credits

One credit gives one device 30 days of RMS Management. RMS, Teltonika's Remote Management System, is an IoT platform for remote access to and management of connected Teltonika Networks devices and third party devices. Credits sit in your RMS company's pool until you assign them to devices.

Only to keep a device under RMS Management after its trial. Teltonika gives every new device a free 30 day trial of RMS Management, and every company on RMS the first 5 GB of data for RMS Connect and RMS VPN free. When the trial ends, a device needs a credit or a management pack to stay managed: with Auto Extend on it takes a credit from your company pool every 30 days, and without one it shows as offline in RMS until a credit is assigned. One credit per device per 30 days of management, so 12 credits keeps one device managed for a year of 30 day periods (360 days). Ten devices for a year use 120. The calculator works it out for any fleet.

Once Stripe confirms your card payment, the code is shown on the order page in your browser straight away and emailed to you with the tax invoice. Now and then an order needs longer, and if so you are told before you pay: This order may take up to 48 hours. We'll email your code as soon as it's ready.

Yes on both counts. Credits are $5.00 ex GST each, $5.50 inc GST, in AUD. The total shown before you pay includes GST, and the tax invoice from ZenByte Australia Pty Ltd shows the GST amount separately.

No. Every new Teltonika device comes with a free RMS Management trial of 30 days. Credits are needed once that trial ends and you want the device to stay under management.

Not directly. RMS Connect and RMS VPN are paid for with company data, not with management time. Teltonika gives every company on RMS the first 5 GB of data free. Beyond that, data comes from a 150 GB connection data pack assigned to one device for 10 years, or by converting RMS credits into company data inside RMS at 2 GB per credit. Teltonika also sells RMS Management packages, prepaid blocks of time for one device, with terms of 3, 5 or 10 years. There are also 6 and 12 month packages. Buying 6 or 12 monthly credits for one device typically costs more than the matching package. Credits are the flexible option: they can go to any device in the company when it needs them. We sell standard RMS credits only for now; RMS management packages are coming soon.

A code can be activated by any RMS company, not only the company that bought it. Activate it in the company whose devices you want to manage.

No. Buy any whole number of credits from 1 up, in one order. For orders over 1,000 credits, we'll call you during business hours to confirm the order before your code is sent. It's a quick safeguard for large orders.

We have not found a published expiry for unused credits, so we make no promise either way. Credits assigned to a device are consumed over that device's 30 day period. Check the current RMS terms in your account.
