Sign in to RMS, open the account menu, choose Activate code, paste the code and click Activate. The credits then join your company's pool. A code from us, or from anyone else, is activated this way; the steps below follow Teltonika's wiki page on activating a resource code.
You need an RMS login for the company that should receive the credits, and the code from your
order email or order page. A code can be activated by any RMS company, not only the company
that bought it, and the credits go to the company your user belongs to. The portal is
rms.teltonika-networks.com (opens Teltonika's website).
Copy the code from your order email or order page and paste it into RMS, then click Activate.
RMS shows the message Activate operation completed successfully, and the credits join your company pool.
Assign credits to devices from the RMS device list as you need them. Each credit gives one device 30 days of RMS Management.
The Resources page under Administration has the same function: open the Resources or Codes section, choose Activate code from the action menu, paste the code and click Activate. Afterwards, Resource summary in the account menu shows the new balance.
1. Account menu The account menu open, with Activate code highlighted. 2. Activate code The dialog with a code pasted in, before pressing Activate. 3. Success The confirmation message RMS shows once the code is accepted. 4. Credits in the pool Where the credits then appear for the company.
These are simplified drawings, not screenshots of RMS. Menu names follow Teltonika's documentation
and may differ slightly in your RMS.
After activation
The credits are in your company pool. One credit gives one device 30 days of RMS Management,
so 12 credits keeps one device managed for a year. Assign them to the devices you want
managed; a device whose trial or previous credit has ended returns to management once a credit
is assigned. Our guide How to use RMS credits covers
the Service and Auto Extend switches that do this.
If the code is refused
The codes we deliver are 32 lower case letters and digits with no spaces. Use the Copy button
on the order page or in your account, or copy it from the email, and paste it rather than
typing it: a missing or extra character is the usual cause of a refusal. If it still fails,
reply to the order email or write to hello@rmscredits.au with your order number and we will check
the code in RMS.
Menu names may differ
The RMS interface can change over time. The labels above are as its documentation gives them;
if your RMS shows something different, the function is the same: an activate code action under
the account menu or on the Resources page.
In RMS, open the account menu at the top right and choose Activate code, paste the code and click Activate. The Resources page under Administration has the same action.
Which company receives the credits?
The company your RMS user belongs to. Any company can activate a code, not only the one that bought it.
Do credit codes expire?
We cannot say for certain. We have not found a published answer on whether a credit code expires before it is activated, so we make no promise either way. If in doubt, activate it soon after you receive it.
